SOLAR THERMAL

Using the sun to heat your hot water can save you up to 60% on your domestic hot water costs, the roof panels absorb heat that is transferred through a liquid, this is then pumped through a coil within the hot water cylinder and thus producing hot water.

This technology can be used in conjunction with a heat pump or boiler, new or existing, when introducing solar to an existing system there will probably be a requirement to either replace the cylinder or install an additional system.

Solar thermal panels will attract a Renewable Heat Incentive Premium Payment and will be part of the Renewable Heat Incentive in full. Please view the grants section for more information.
